Bread of Life
Bread of Life occurs on the last Sunday of the month – we invite folks from the community to drive through the parking lot, open their trunk and receive 2 bags of groceries. Distribution is from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A luncheon is also offered on that day free of charge. Come and receive God’s provision.
A group of ladies knit shawls to give comfort to people who are hurting for various reasons. It could be the loss of a loved one or a serious health issue, loss of job or numerous other issues. Every time we pick up our knitting needles we pray, “that whoever receives this shawl may be comforted by its warmth and know that others care and that God loves them.” The prayer shawl serves as a tangible reminder of God’s love and comfort.
